It always saddens me when someone is only acknowledged for their greatness after something tragic happens to them. The sudden death of Amy Winehouse this summer took many by surprise including me. Her death stirred up quite the controversy sparking some very hurtful comments from naysayers all over the blogs but if there's one thing we can all agree on its her talent. On December 4th Lioness: Hidden Treasure will be released on Amy's behalf featuring a compilation of unreleased records. The first single from the album is a cover of Ruby & The Romantics 1963 hit "Our Day Will Come". The video hit the net the other day and features a bunch of photos and unreleased video footage of Amy on tour and such.
