LA duo Electric Guest comprised of Matt Compton and Asa Taccone is a prime example of the new age fusion indie-pop-soul. Matt has always been behind the scenes playing the drums and guitar for numerous bands but always felt that more could be done to showcase his talents. Asa also has a great deal of experience in the industry from directing videos for his older brother Jorma Taccone's sketch comedy group The Lonely Island. For their upcoming LP, Mondo, Electric Guest collaborated with super producer Danger Mouse. I hope This Head I Hold is on there because that is THEE jam. Last month they released the video for their single American Daydream which was directed by Jorma and in true Jorma fashion, the video is strictly for shits and giggles. Let this be a lesson to everyone throwing house parties this year. Be careful who you invite because they just might turn around and jump you for your shit lol.
