Subburbia is an indie-band from Brazil ready for world domination. Subburbia has been around for about three years now and it has been a very long journey. Throughout the years they have shuffled through a number of band members but have finally found their sound. The band consists of Emil, front man and only original member, Emani who plays the synth, Vir on the drums, and Marina Penny on vocals/guitar. They describe their new sound as witty, sexy, and chaotic. Regardless of the changes, Subburbia remains one of the most hyped bands in Brazil. In the Brazilian press they are often compared to CSS and while it is apparent that there are similarities, the band is determined to stand out in a category of their own. They recently released their new EP Pentagrama last month and are currently working on the release of the Wrong Riot's music video, an international tour, and a new single set to release in June.
