Give me life. Give me life. Give me life. THEESatisfaction is a hip-hop/soul group comprised of two of Seattle's finest, Stasia Irons and Catherine Harris-White. They write, produce, and perform all of their own music and have been creating musical magic since their college days at the University of Washington. Music is the motivation that fuels their drive and together they represent the sound that hip-hop is so desperately missing; the female voice of a relatable kind. They consciously discuss topics of feminism, afrocentrism, sexuality, and politics. With lyrics like "leave your face at the door, turn off your swag, and check your bag" its easy to see that they are on a completely different level. Their album Awe Naturale via Sub Pop Records is a fine example of what they have to offer. Although the entire compilation is solid, notable tracks are QueenS, Deeper, Needs, and Enchantruss.
