Well, we’ve lost another deeply talented artist. Amy Winehouse had soul oozing out of her pores. Her voice was reminiscent of old jazz and blues singers of the past, she made it cool for this generation to listen to that kind of music. Her style was all her own, no one else was like her.
She was fighting her own demons, but even when she faltered the one thing you couldn’t deny was her musical talent. People would still buy tickets to see her live not knowing what to expect, but hoping to see the talented songstress bring the house down.
Amy’s career was full of professional successes and personal failures, but I think that collectively everyone was pulling for her to win.
She will live on though through her music. No one else can touch the impact she has made on the music world, she carved out her own unique niche.
