I opened my e-mail yesterday to a lovely surprise -- a download link to the golden girl's free EP, Gone. Muhsinah's urban/suburban style release is a two`fer featuring six pieces of art hand crafted by Muhsinah herself since she wrote, composed, produced and recorded the project entirely on her own. As a gift to her fans, who have been faithfully waiting nearly 2 years for a new release from the songstress, she decided to release the EP on her birthday
After months of living, writing, and recording, I’ve just bounced a master of my new musical effort. I’m so glad to share my experiences with you all. This EP, which I call Gone, speaks from a place of emotional vulnerability. I’m happy to know that it’s helped me through my own personal changes and can help those of you dealing with a troubling time. Either way. It’s coming really soon. Thanks for sticking with me.
