If you haven't heard of Dia Frampton well open up your ears and take a listen because you are in for a treat. Frampton, who is currently a finalist on the hit NBC show The Voice is no newcomer to the music scene. In 2004 Dia formed the band Meg&Dia with her sister Meg and a couple of friends. Through the promotion of the once ever so popular MySpace, Meg&Dia won the honorable slot as the official Myspace band for Warped Tour in 2006 allowing them to join the tour again the following year. The band however was short-lived under Warner Bros Records and as of last year is currently unsigned. Influenced by an eclectic mix of Etta James, Modest Mouse, and Ben Folds (to name a few), Dia who sings lead for the band did not let that stop her. She tried out for The Voice during her blind audition and instantly won the heart of celebrity judge Blake Shelton who carried her under his wing.
On the latest episode of the show Dia performed her rendition to Kanye West's Heartless which is absolutely amazing. On the show we are so used to seeing her shy side but I definitely feel like she brought it in this performance.
